Why is my polaroid tv making popping sounds?

I have had this tv for almost 4 years. Lately, the tv will pop when i change channels and when the volume gets a little louder i hear this humming sound. I did get a soundbar but it still pops when i change channels and if you listen close to soundbar it makes a weird sound. Help... is it time for a new tv?
