Will the BEST project silence global warming deniers and continue myths about surface temperatures?

Interesting stuff, but anything coming from Berekely, or in the immediate vicinity is suspect in my opinion. What needs to happen are real, scientific studies, blind or double blind in nature, which shows exactly what is claimed by the alarmists is occuring, that a very small increase in CO2 will cause the effect of a warmer global average temperature. Everything else is just smoke and mirrors.
