Is it normal for a person with tourettes to feel weird and not normal?

Im 15 and I have tourettes and whenever my tics occur people stare at me and when they do they just look at me weird. My tics are head jerking, wrinkling my nose and blinking, my pinky spazing out, and humming or grunting. Is it normal for me to feel unnornal?
