The Number 8 in Tarot Spread?

I've been dating someone for a few months. The circumstances surrounding how and when we met were odd and things have been moving fast, it's been amazing. The energy between us (when we're together) is intense. I did a quick 3 card spread to find out what is the energy surrounding us. The 3 cards that came up were: 8 of pentacles, 8 of cups and the 8 of wands. The cards were all upright and the order didn't pertain to any time-frame, i.e. I didn't do a past, present, future spread. This was just a general 3 card draw. Any idea what this could mean?
