Do you agree with Judith Curry that this is a paper?

Well, it's a type of paper, but let's put it this way: if that was the only type of paper that a scientist produced, he or she would be denied tenure. I don't think it's any more of paper than what appears on the Realclimate or wattsupwiththat blogs--it's an article supporting a certain viewpoint. I think the most misleading part of her remark was that she said it "supported McIntyre and McKitrick's analysis..." . I had the impression from that quote that he had shown something further than they did, when apparently what she meant by "supported" was that it cheered M and M on.
